Yellow Lagos Chicken

Welcome to Lagos, we do chicken right here. Ever imagined how ginger, turmeric and mint would taste on chicken? not to forget, this Lagos chicken so... pepper must dey.

Trust me the taste matches the looks on this one.


  • Chicken Breast (2 boneless breast)

  • Ground Turmeric

  • Ginger Powder

  • Mint Leaves

  • Ground Pepper

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Cut Chicken breast into sizeable cubes and place in mixing bowl

  2. Add 1 teaspoon each of ground turmeric and pepper, 2 tablespoons of ginger powder & mix in thoroughly

  3. Crush mint leaves lightly using a pestle (you can use the back of a spoon against a chopping board)

  4. Add crushed mint leaves to chicken mix then place bowl in fridge to marinade for 30 minutes

  5. Set Oven or Air fryer to 180 degrees. Fit chicken cubes on skewers and set to grill for 20 minutes

  6. Serve with fresh mint leaves

This meal can be paired with potato or yam fries.
